The Serenity Plan is designed for those who wish to have a traditional funeral, whether a cremation or burial, in their adopted country, including a religious or humanist ceremony. This plan offers all the services provided in the Tranquility Plan, with the added features of a floral tribute, a premium coffin, and a tailored religious or humanist ceremony, with the guidance of our qualified Elysium Celebrant.
Most Importantly The Serenity Plan has the inclusion of up to 5 days of mortuary expenses, giving family and loved ones the necessary time to travel and arrange the appropriate religious service and participate in the end-of-life celebration.
If a Serenity Burial Plan is chosen, please note:
Burial taxes are not included.
All the necessary work to create and manage the plan upon its creation.
Liaising between Funeral Directors and Next of Kin to keep them updated regarding the chosen funeral.
Arranging the full services of the Nominated Funeral Director are available for the chosen service and venue. We will also arrange for the Funeral Directors fees to be paid as well as cremation fees and fees for relevant Dr certification.
The respectful removal of the deceased from place of death into the care of the Nominated Funeral Director.
The body is hygienically cleansed and dressed in readiness for their chosen funeral.
We will ensure the registration of the death is conducted promptly at the local Civil Register (Registro Civil). An International Death Certificate is included.
In Spain, funerals traditionally take place within 24 – 48 hours. The Elysium Serenity Funeral Plan includes up to 5 days at the Funeral Home/Tanatorio, including 1 day for family and friends to view the deceased and pay their final respects. Additional time may be available subject to confirmation and extra charges.
We supply an environmentally friendly coffin that meets all European standards.
A religious or humanist service, in accordance with the wishes of the plan holder. The family will have the opportunity to meet the clergy member or celebrant to discuss and personalise the service in detail.
A beautiful floral arrangement will be supplied to sit upon the coffin.
We supply an individual sized urn. Alternative urns can be purchased directly from the Funeral Director.
We will ensure the delivery of your ashes are returned to your family, if that has been requested.
Should you pass in your home country, the plan funds can be released to hold your end-of-life celebration there.*
A standard Will, written, notarised and registered supplied with all full paying plans.
For every plan created, we show our support to local communities, by donating up to €40 to one of our Charity Partners as chosen by the plan holder.
Our commitment to the environment. A free tree planted for every plan created and on every anniversary of its creation if plan has been paid for in full.
A free Clarity direct cremation for any child under 18 directly related to the full paying plan holder. Other funeral plans available on request.
A free Collective Pet Plan is included with any full paying funeral plan.
We are by your side throughout the whole process from purchasing the appropriate plan for you through to caring and supporting your loved ones. If required, we can build your chosen plan into a Bespoke Plan incorporating a Family Plan or even a Living Funeral Plan.

It was good to be able to meet with the Celebrant who will be leading the service, to be involved with the planning and to know that there will be sincerity at the service, not just empty words
My family would nag if we didn’t have a service that reflected our lives and adventures and with the opportunity to receive two Commitments, there is a chance our grandchildren will receive a legacy long after we’ve gone to maybe start their lives of adventure!
As practising Roman Catholics, we really wanted a value for money plan, that also allowed us to include a funeral Mass. Our plans provide for this and, with free Wills included, we feel we have sorted a lot of our later life planning with Elysium’s guidance and assistance
