Protecting Plan Holders’ funds is our top priority whilst at the same time maximising medium and long-term capital growth to ensure we continue to meet future commitments.
Elysium Funeral Plans are proud to be different, open and transparent. We believe it is important that plan holders know where their funds are AT ALL TIMES.
Unlike other funeral plan providers who invest through ‘TRUSTS’ we prefer to be open and transparent. Trusts are not legally recognised in Spain or Portugal so plan holders whose money is managed through one will find that their funds move offshore, outside Spain or Portugal.
We work with Banco Sabadell and their Investment Management arm Sabadell Asset management. Since June 2020 Sabadell Asset Management has been part of Amundi Investment Solutions, owned by Credit Agricole. As of 30 September 2024 Amundi Group has:

During the 21-Day Consideration Period, funds remain in our Banco Sabadell Business Account. it remains here until the Consideration Period is concluded at which point the funds are immediately transferred to our Investment Partners and the process to ensure sufficient funds are made available for your contracted funeral plan are available at your time of need commences..

THE ELYSIUM 14-YEAR REFUND COMMITMENT
We will refund the full funeral plan fee if the plan holder lives for 14 years after full payment, or 14 years after the final payment is made. Elysium Funeral Plans will still take full responsibility for their funeral when the time comes!
THE ELYSIUM 10-YEAR LEGACY REFUND COMMITMENT
If the plan holder pays in full or upgrades within 90 days, we will refund the fee to their Nominated Beneficiary if they pass away between the 10th and 14th anniversary of the plan.

At Elysium Funeral Plans, we know how vital it is to PROTECT your loved ones.
While many providers offer only ‘free’ advice, we go further.
When you pay for your Funeral Plan in full, our legal documentation is prepared and formalised in accordance with the applicable requirements of Spain, Portugal and Cyprus, with notarisation or legal certification provided where required – as part of your end-of-life wishes.
If your estate is more complex, such as including significant property or equity portfolios, our Will writer will advise on an upgraded option. You’ll only need to cover the difference.

With every qualifying Elysium Funeral Plan, we donate up to €40 to a registered charity or recognised community organisation in Spain, Portugal or Cyprus.
If you choose monthly payments up to 60 months, we’ll donate up to €20.
